one-day postpartum support
Why hire a doula for one day?
Most parents have that “oh, shit” moment: when the nurses, doctors, or midwives leave, or they get home and face their first night home alone with their baby. That’s where I come in!
With my one-day package, I’ll help you adjust to the early days with a newborn. You’ll receive education and guidance when it comes to
Newborn feeding (breast/chest, bottle, syringe, pumping, or any combination of those)
Safe newborn sleep
Baby wearing
Healing practices such as sitz baths, belly binding, womb rubs, and more
FAQs

If you have a newborn, I aim to visit as early as possible. For the most part, we can’t predict when your baby will arrive, so you’ll inform me when you’re in labor and when your baby arrives. Then, I’ll come as soon as you’re ready!
For infants, unless you have specific issues you’ll like to address, I recommend having a doula come once your baby is forming a routine, so we can establish healthy sleep and feeding habits.

That depends! If you have a great support system, one day should be perfect. If you have gaps in your support team, you might prefer a few days. My contracts are flexible in order to meet the needs and budget of my clients.

My minimum shift is four hours long and my maximum is eight. To give you the most guidance, I like to be present for multiple feeding and sleep cycles.

My one-day packages begin at $250 and go up to $500; you can also add belly binding.
For clients who book prenatal education, multiple days, or belly binding, they receive a discount.
