What is abhyanga?
Abhyanga is the Ayurvedic practice of applying warm oil for therapeutic bodywork. Herb-infused oils are rubbed into the body to bring warmth back to the postpartum body. Abhyanga post-natal body work is nourishing and calming.

Once your warming oils are set up, you will receive abhyanga body work. The sessions use a great amount of warming oil from head to toe with lymphatic-stimulating motions.
After the body work, an aromatherapy shower will be prepared to wash off the oils.

For both vaginal and surgical births, you can begin within the first week of birth. Abhyanga body work is not recommended during menstruation or sick and vomiting. *But please confirm with your doctor.

Abhyanga is therapeutic body work that aims to bring warmth and circulation to the postpartum body. It is not a massage.

Including setup and cleanup, sessions last 1 1/2 hours.
Clients have the option to add-on bengkung belly binding, which makes the session last two hours.
